Care
Caring for your jewellery helps preserve its beauty and extend its life. Here’s how to keep your pieces looking their best:
Sterling Silver
Sterling silver benefits from regular wear, as your skin's natural oils help maintain its shine. It's best to protect your silver jewellery from perfume, and lotions. When it needs a refresh, give it a gentle rub with a silver polishing cloth. Store your Silver pieces somewhere dry and snug, like a pouch or jewellery box, to prevent tarnishing.
Gold-Plated
Gold-plated pieces are a little more delicate, so treat them with extra care. Take them off before showering, swimming, or breaking a sweat. Keep perfumes, lotions, and sprays at a distance. Clean gently with a soft, damp cloth—no fancy cleaners needed—and store separately so they don’t get scratched. It’s normal for gold plated jewellery to fade over time, or when worn regularly. If you find your item has softened in brightness, it can be re-plated with any local jeweller to give it new life.
Solid Gold
Solid gold is tough but not indestructible - it’s best to take it off if you're doing anything too hands on. Take extra care when wearing your items to avoid contact with water, soaps, perfume, and lotions. To clean, wipe gently with a damp cloth or gold polishing cloth.
